OSHAcademics Membership Categories and Application Process

Student Member

Eligibility:
Open to individuals currently enrolled in an OSHAcademics training course or studying in a related occupational health and safety field at an accredited institution.

Annual Fee: $50 USD

Application Process:

  1. Complete the Student Membership Application Form available through email..
  2. Upload a valid student ID card or enrollment letter.
  3. Submit payment online via PayPal, Stripe, or bank transfer.
  4. Receive confirmation and a digital membership card within 5 working days.

Affiliate Member

Eligibility:
Designed for individuals new to the occupational safety and health profession or those with a general interest in workplace safety.

  • Entry into professional discussion forums and webinars.
  • Discounted rates for short courses and workshops.
  • Opportunity to upgrade to Professional Member after 1 year.

Annual Fee: $75 USD

Application Process:

  2. Provide a brief personal profile outlining your interest in occupational safety.
  3. Submit the membership fee using the secure payment portal.
  4. Receive confirmation email and welcome kit with membership certificate.

Professional Member (M.OSHAcad)

Eligibility:
For safety practitioners, managers, trainers, or auditors with at least two (2) years of verified experience in occupational safety, health, or environmental management.

  • Authorization to use post-nominal title M.OSHAcad (Member of OSHAcademics).
  • Access to professional networking, mentoring, and development sessions.
  • Eligibility to deliver OSHAcademics programs under an ATP (with approval).

Annual Fee: $120 USD

Application Process:

  1. Complete the Professional Membership Application through email.
  2. Upload:
    • Copy of highest qualification (minimum diploma or equivalent).
    • Proof of work experience (employment letter or reference).
  3. Pay the membership fee securely.
  4. Application reviewed by the Membership Committee within 10 working days.
  5. Approved members receive an electronic membership certificate and profile ID.

Fellow Member (F.OSHAcad)

Eligibility:
Reserved for distinguished professionals with 10+ years of proven experience or exceptional contributions to the field of occupational health and safety (through leadership, research, or publications).

Validity: 3 Years
Fee: $250 USD

Application Process:

  1. Complete the Fellow Membership Application form through email.
  2. Upload:
    • Updated CV with achievements and professional history.
    • Two recommendation letters from senior professionals or institutions.
  3. Pay the fellowship review fee.
  4. Undergo peer review by the Fellowship Assessment Board.
  5. Receive digital and hardcopy Fellowship Certificate and ID upon approval.

Corporate / Institutional Member

Eligibility:
Open to organizations, training providers, or businesses committed to promoting workplace safety through collaboration, employee training, or research.

Application Process:

  1. Submit the Corporate Membership Form via the OSHAcademics official email address.
  2. Attach organization registration documents and profile.
  3. Pay membership fee online or via bank transfer.
  4. Verification and approval by the Partnership Committee within 7–10 days.
  5. Receive a Corporate Membership Certificate and logo usage rights.

Lifetime Member

Eligibility:
For professionals with at least five (5) years of continuous affiliation or major contribution to OSHAcademics.

  • Lifetime membership—no renewal required.
  • Permanent listing in the global membership directory.

Receive Lifetime Certificate and permanent membership ID within 10 days.

Submit the Lifetime Membership Application.
